This china hutch details how you can turn
ordinary into extraordinary. A darker base stain was applied
first, then an embossed stencil was applied to the sides (we used joint
compound!), the entire piece was then covered with white satin enamel
and trim molding in green and yellow, then sanded off in selected areas
to create the antique patina, lastly an antiquing stain was applied
overall with subtle green and coral highlights. The picture
doesn't do it justice. You can see it up close at Finish It! or
the Parade of Homes in June. |
